Dr. Avni Rampersaud

DR. AVNI RAMPERSAUD

Dr. Avni Rampersaud is from Alexandria, Virginia.  She first moved to the Triangle to attend Duke University.  She graduated from Duke with a B.A. in English.  She then attended the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.  She completed two additional years of specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC.  In 2007, Dr. Avni Rampersaud achieved Diplomate Status as a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Avni Rampersaud resides in Durham with her husband, Edward, who works at Duke University Medical Center, and her daughter, Saia and son Milan.

DR. LIZ PRADA

Dr. Liz Prada grew up in Michigan and moved to Durham, NC in 1998 to attend Duke University where she received a B.A. in Biology and Public Policy Studies.  She attended the University of Pennsylvania for dental school, graduating with honors.  Dr. Prada completed a three-year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry and Master’s degree in Public Health at UNC.  Her master’s thesis studied the role of dentistry in improving the health of pregnant women and infants.  She is currently an Assistant Adjunct Professor in Pediatric Dentistry at UNC.

Dr. Prada lives in Durham with her husband, Victor, who works at the Duke University Medical Center and her dog, Boris.
